‘Pirate dave & the Search for Good Character’

Ahoy mates! Gear up for a high-seas adventure!  Join me, Pirate Dave, and my puppet friends as we take your students on an amazing 45-minute voyage in search of good character.  The journey is brimming with comedy, magic, storytelling, and audience participation, and, as they take the trip, your students will discover the importance of making wise choices while learning about values such as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, persistence, compassion, and good citizenship.

As with all of my assembly programs, 'Pirate Dave & the Search for Good Character' celebrates the wonderful world of reading and the magic found in books. Several weeks before the show, I'll contact your school librarian to arrange to get books from your school's collection that illustrate the character traits we're focusing on in the show. Those books -- age-appropriate to the grades I'm performing for -- will be highlighted during the show and, afterwards, the books will fly off the library's shelves!

At the end of 'Pirate Dave & the Search for Good Character' students will discover one of the greatest benefits of making good character choices: the ability to be a good friend!
